From the time of the American Revolution to Iraq, military women have served this country in some manner. In fact, there are over 2,000,000 women veterans...with over 300,000 actively serving our country. All of these women are serving our country voluntarily.
However, upon their discharge, many find themselves in a situation where they are unable transfer their training and knowledge to a real world job environment. In increasing numbers they are finding themselves and their families without the hope of a stable position.
VCC not only welcomes them, and appreciates their talents, but also admires their courage and fortitude.
